The Electrical Safety Standards in the Private Rented Sector (England) Regulations 2020 state that landlords within England must comply with electrical safety regulations and standards, and provide evidence of this for their property/properties. Moreover, due to these standards, landlords must meet the 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations, with evidence supporting a qualified individual who took part in these electrical installations.
